Website maintenance
A launched website needs regular care: updates, backups and now and then a change to a text or a price. I take care of the technical side for a fixed monthly fee, so you do not have to.
Who website maintenance is for
Maintenance is for business owners and freelancers who want their site to work but do not want to deal with hosting, updates or backups. I look after sites I built and, after a first check, also existing sites on Next.js or on WordPress and WooCommerce.

What maintenance does not include
Maintenance covers the technical side of the site. It does not include ongoing SEO, ad management or copywriting. Larger changes and new features, such as a new section or an integration with another system, are quoted separately. E-mail mailboxes are not part of maintenance. The domain stays registered in your name; if I handle its renewal for you, it is billed at cost.
How to start
First I briefly check the site: what it runs on, the state of updates and backups, and where the access details are. The plan then starts from the next month. You can cancel it with one month's notice. I confirm the exact terms in the quote.
Frequently asked questions
Can you take over a site someone else built?
Yes, if it runs on Next.js or on WordPress and WooCommerce. I first check it briefly and then tell you whether I can take it over.
What if I do not use the edit time?
Unused time does not carry over to the next month. If you regularly need more edits, the Standard plan is the better fit.
What happens if I cancel?
The site, its content and the domain stay yours. Hosting runs on my account, so when we finish I hand over the files, backups and access details needed to move the site to another provider.
Is hosting included?
Yes. Hosting and the SSL certificate are included in both plans. The domain stays in your name and its renewal is billed separately at cost.
What does availability monitoring mean?
A service checks automatically every day that the site loads. If it stops working, I get an alert and look into it. On the Standard plan I handle the outage with priority.
